The methylC track

The methylC track is a novel track type of WashU EpiGenome Browser. It is excellent in displaying single-base DNA methylation data, especially (but not limited) for whole-genome bisulfite sequencing (WGBS) experiments.

Above example shows the H1ES WGBS results in a methylC track. Bar colors distinguish cytosine context: CG CHG CHH, gray curve is sequencing read depth. Light gray background identifies positions of CG where methylation level is low.

You can find details of methylC track on the Wubrowse Wiki.

A short paper describing methylC track will appear in Bioinformatics.
